Friday has arrived, and you know what that means: weekly weigh in. The tenth week since I’ve been tracking the number and posting it here for all to see.
But, before we get to the number lets talk about my goals last week, and what I did this week in order to end up with the number I did.
Last Weeks Goal: Last week my goal was getting back to basics and redevelop the good habits I’ve sabotaged over the past few weeks.
Result: I’m really proud of myself this week. I felt myself spiraling, I auto corrected, I reigned it in a good deal, and I was able to start getting back on track. I’m not quite back to the healthy habits I had a few weeks ago, but I’m building them back up, and I’m committed; that is more than I could ever say on previous failures before.
A competition at work also has me aiming to get more steps in on a daily basis, and this can only be a good thing. I’m parking my car further back, taking the stairs more often, and find myself attempting to be more active even in the house. I’ll hopefully be buying a Fitbit soon to better track my steps, since my phone is pretty limited, and I can’t wear it into Tae Kwon Do.
This Week’s Goal: I want to continue slowly building back up my habits. This week I focused a lot on moving diet soda back to a treat again, which I’ve mostly succeeded at. Next week is going to be all about really paying attention to ramping up my vegetables, and making good healthy decisions at work.
So now what everyone is here for: what did the scale say?
- Beginning Weight: 335 pounds / 58% Body Fat
- Previous 8/31: 315.8 pounds / 50.1% Body Fat
- Current 9/7: 314.2 pounds / 50.0% Body Fat
This Week: -1.6 Lbs / -.1% Body Fat
Total Weight Loss: 20.8 Lbs / 8% Body Fat
I’m very pleased with this week, it was nearly a two pound loss. Considering I even went out with my family to a Mexican restaurant and had pizza this week, this is a great sign of progress again.
Have a great weekend everyone!
